How an engagement runs

A clear rhythm from first note to written recommendations, so directors know when they will decide and what lands on the table.

How an engagement runs

Franchise development consulting works best when everyone knows the sequence. This page is our custom map of how ScaleHouse Franchise Consulting typically engages — whether you begin with a readiness assessment or a territory brief.

1. Enquiry and fit check

You send a short note about your category, sites, and decision. We reply within two business days. If franchising is clearly premature, we say so and may suggest company-owned growth focus instead of a paid assessment.

2. Scoping call

A 30–40 minute call to confirm deliverables, timelines, travel needs, and who from your side joins workshops. You receive a one-page proposal with fee, deposit, and dates.

3. Discovery pack

You share financial summaries, lease notes, SOPs, and any draft franchise materials. We issue a secure checklist and confirm what can stay redacted.

4. Workshops and observation

We facilitate structured sessions and, where relevant, walk a flagship site during a normal trading block — not only a staged visit. Expect pointed questions about supplier exceptions, staff who hold undocumented knowledge, and customer promises that vary by manager.

5. Analysis and drafting

Behind the scenes we model unit economics, draft gap lists, or build territory options. You are not asked to sit through filler meetings; we book touchpoints only when a decision unlocks the next chapter.

6. Delivery and debrief

You receive the written pack and a live debrief. We leave you with owners for decisions, action owners, and a suggested order of legal and operational next steps.

7. Optional continuation

Some clients stop after readiness. Others continue into system design, recruitment support, or expansion planning. Each stage is a separate agreement so you are never locked into a multi-year bundle.
